For 2010, Banned Books Week will be observed September 25 &#8211; October 2.<\/p>\n<p>The MU Libraries\u2019 Diversity Action Committee will promote Banned Books Week by the following activities:<br \/>\n1) Provide pamphlets at public service desks with information on Banned Books Week.<br \/>\n2) Sponsor an information link on the library\u2019s main web page to promote the Week to patrons.<br \/>\n3) Sponsor an information link on the library\u2019s other e-resources, Twitter, Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Banned Books Week is sponsored by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bookweb.org\/index.html\">American Booksellers Association<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abffe.com\/\">American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/\">American Library Association<\/a>(ALA), the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.publishers.org\/\">Association of American Publishers<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asja.org\/\">American Society of Journalists and Authors<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nacs.org\/\">National Association of College Stores<\/a>.
