The pay phones were turned off due to lack of use and increasing costs, which resulted in a negative cash flow. In addition, they had become a disturbance because they would often ring with nuisance calls and had to be left off the hook.<\/p>\n<p>Patrons who need to make campus or local calls should be directed to the disability phone (near the West Entrance), which will remain in use.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As reported in the last issue of News Notes, the pay phones in Ellis Library have been turned off.
