Payment options are available and Weight Watchers accepts checks, cash and credit card. All faculty and staff who attend 12 of 13 weeks qualify for a 25% rebate through Healthy for Life. Weight Watchers fees are fully reimbursable through the Flexible Spending Account with appropriate medical documentation.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tMemorial Union International Center Conference Room- Weight Watchers will be holding an informational meeting on Friday, Feb. 26 from noon until 1 p.m. There\u2019s no need to register, just show up. We have 7 people on the roster and only need 8 more to start the class.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tLemone Blvd Area (class will be held at MORENet)- We are still collecting names for anyone interested in attending a meeting here. A particular weekday has not been selected, however it will likely be 12 p.m.-1 p.m. We have 13 people on the roster and only need 2 more to start the class. If interested, please email wellness@umsystem.edu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Affordable Fitness Classes at Work<\/strong><br \/>\nTake advantage of these classes that fit your budget. Visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.umsystem.edu\/ums\/curators\/wellness\/classes_mu.shtml\">Healthy for Life website<\/a> for a full list of yoga and stretching classes.  Full payment is due at the beginning of the first class and space is limited. Please contact the instructor directly to register or for questions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pedometers and Odometers<\/strong><br \/>\nNow is the time to enroll in the Million Step Pedometer Program and\/or the Ride to Wellness Program. Healthy for Life will have tables set up to sell pedometers and odometers on campus on the following dates\/times. Pedometers are $15 and odometers at $20&#8211;cash or check. Walk 1 million steps or ride 500 miles and receive your money back! If you already have a pedometer or odometer, stop by the table to enroll for FREE. As always, you can stop by our office at 205 Heinkel to enroll in either program.<\/p>\n<p>Monday, Mar. 8 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Lewis &amp; Clark Hall Lobby<br \/>\nWednesday, Mar. 17 from 12 p.m.-2 p.m.: Animal Science Research Center Lobby<br \/>\nMonday, Mar. 22 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Reynolds Alumni Center Lobby<\/p>\n<p><strong>Noon Time Stress Reduction Meditation<\/strong><br \/>\nResearch over the past two decades suggests that engaging in a regular mindfulness meditation practice can reduce stress and enhance overall psychological and physical wellbeing.  Find out for yourself by taking advantage of the noon-time (12:15 p.m. &#8211; 12:45 p.m.) sitting meditation sessions across campus each week. All faculty and staff are welcome on a drop-in basis, and no previous experience with meditation is necessary. If you can\u2019t make the noon time sitting meditation group, consider listening to one of the audio recordings. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete and gives you a chance have your opinion heard. Results from this survey will tell UM Faculty &amp; Staff Benefits what pay and benefits features you value most and how they can create a package that might serve your needs more effectively. To maintain confidentiality, responses will be tabulated by Hewitt Associates, an independent human resources consulting firm. Individual responses will not be identified in the results. Be sure to look in your inbox or home mailbox for the survey.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s Health and Wellness Fair<\/strong><br \/>\nThe 3rd annual Women\u2019s Health and Wellness Fair will be held in Memorial Union (Stotler Lounge) on Thursday, March 4 from 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Over 20 campus and community organizations will be there including the Women\u2019s Center, Susan G. Koman, Alley Cat Yoga, Grindstone Fitness, American Heart Association and many more! The fair is open to all Mizzou faculty, staff, and students and is hosted by the MU Chancellor\u2019s Committee on the Status of Women.
