{"id":143,"date":"2008-05-01T08:00:59","date_gmt":"2008-05-01T14:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mulibraries.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/?p=143"},"modified":"2008-05-01T08:00:59","modified_gmt":"2008-05-01T14:00:59","slug":"reminder-financial-planning-seminars-a-good-investment-of-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/2008\/05\/01\/reminder-financial-planning-seminars-a-good-investment-of-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder Financial Planning Seminars \u2013 A good investment of time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Staff Development Committee would like to provide library employees with a reminder that Bob Almony is presenting two financial planning sessions this spring at the request of Human Resources (HR). <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"left\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>    <\/span>Principles of Investing on a Shoestring Budget; or, How to Get Rich Slowly<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> will be presented Friday, May 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., S203 Memorial Union. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';color: black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> <span>    <\/span><em>Taking Charge of Your Finances<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> will be presented Thursday, May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., N201\/202 Memorial Union. Because of the room size at the Union, space is available in both sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">HR now provides on-line registration to its courses (<a href=\"https:\/\/iatsbase.missouri.edu\/hrtraining\/calendar.aspx\">https:\/\/iatsbase.missouri.edu\/hrtraining\/calendar.aspx<\/a>). Supervisor approval is required to attend. If approved, release time is granted to attend courses sponsored by HR.
