{"id":1423,"date":"2009-09-11T09:34:07","date_gmt":"2009-09-11T15:34:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mulibraries.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/?p=1423"},"modified":"2009-09-11T09:34:07","modified_gmt":"2009-09-11T15:34:07","slug":"mu-libraries-in-the-news-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/2009\/09\/11\/mu-libraries-in-the-news-17\/","title":{"rendered":"MU Libraries in the News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MU professor Ingolf Gruen made the following comment in repsonse to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.insidehighered.com\/blogs\/keywords_from_a_librarian\/funqs\">blog post <\/a>at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.insidehighered.com\/\">Inside Higher Ed<\/a> about accessing library Web pages from university home pages:<\/p>\n<p><em>Although I have encountered students&#8217; &#8220;library, what library?&#8221; attitude many times, I do believe the link to our library from the university home page is very visible and two clicks gets you to the libraries&#8217; homepage <a href=\"..\/..\/\" target=\"_self\">http:\/\/mulibraries.missouri.edu\/<\/a>, which has info such as hours etc. right there on the page (the first click gets you to a page that has all the MU libraries listed).
