Education and Prevention Coordinator, Office of Civil Rights &amp; Title IX<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tEmphasized the important role the library can have in supporting and providing a safe and inclusive environment.It is all of our responsibilities to foster inclusivity through our personal interactions.We can also foster inclusivity by highlighting books, online representations, seminars, portraits, and media formats.She also encouraged us to keep the conversation going and to invite new people to the conversation.\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tOffice for Civil Rights and Title IX wants to facilitate discussion.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe number of reports have increased year over year from 300 to 600.The Office attributes this to more people trusting the reporting &amp; investigation process.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tLibrary staff can make reports and encourage others to make reports in three ways: email: <a href=\"mailto:civilrights-titleix@missouri.edu\">civilrights-titleix@missouri.edu<\/a>, submitting an online incident report form or calling 573-882-3880\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tSupport the process and walk individuals to the office in 202 Jesse, be members of hearing panels, and\/or advisors to those working through the investigation process.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tSee the website for the 13 forms of reportable discrimination on campus. <a href=\"http:\/\/civilrights.missouri.edu\/discrimination\/\">http:\/\/civilrights.missouri.edu\/discrimination\/<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tLibrary staff can call the Office for advice on how to handle hypothetical civil rights situations.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tOther resources: <a href=\"http:\/\/ada.missouri.edu\/\">http:\/\/ada.missouri.edu\/<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/\">https:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/civilrights.missouri.edu\/\">http:\/\/civilrights.missouri.edu\/<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle\">\n<li>\n\t\t<strong><u>Division reports<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<u>HSL and the Specialized Libraries &ndash; Deb Ward<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tthe specialized libraries are responding to cuts as they begin to understand the impact these cuts will have, while also emphasizing the campus wide benefits of libraries.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tview the HSL Cycle of Success stories with contributions from Taira Meadowcroft\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe work of the Libraries as a whole on the Mission, Vision, and Values has inspired HSL to take a look at their specific pieces\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWorking on moving Sandy Schiefer to Missourian Library full time.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWith Judy Maseles retirement, we hope to provide a description for that position to the provost shortly.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<u>RAIS &ndash; Jeannette Pierce:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tthe webpage: how we tell our users about ourselves, encouraged staff to spend some time on the page, see the scrolling bulletin and calendar of events, the new Ask a Librarian chat has really increased our contact with users, etc.\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tthe learning management system changed from Blackboard to Canvas, faculty can make a librarian part of their class, MU Connect will tie subject librarians to students in a specific major\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\twe want to build support for a Digital Media Commons, intention to transform 2 group study rooms to student recording rooms with green wall, carpet and sound buffering\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tconsidering moving microform off site to UMLD2 and weighing how we assess the condition of the microform\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tgive support to our subject specialists who are taking the brunt of the discontent from the collections cuts\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tHead of Instruction position update, the search committee will meet this week, job posting is up on the university job board, want to have someone in place by fall\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<u>ACTS &ndash;
