There are a few changes to bring your attention to regarding this new document. These changes are valid immediately and considered official procedure effective 1\/1\/17.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tEmail will continue to be the delivery method forall retirement election packets.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle\">\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tThe Notice of Intent to Retire document contains a section for the employee to provide their preferred email address, this is the email that will be used to send all election forms (insurance and pension).\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tRetiree insurance election forms will be emailed to retirees who will be eligible for insurance in retirement upon the Retirement &nbsp;Office&rsquo;s receipt of the completed Notice of Intent to Retire document. &nbsp;(this is a new procedure)<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle\">\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tThese forms should be completed immediately upon receipt and returned to the Retirement Office no later than the employee&rsquo;s official retirement date.&nbsp;\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tRetiree insurance election forms and Pension election forms will be sent in separate emails.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle\">\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tInsurance Forms Emailed: Upon receipt of completed NOI in Retirement Office\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tPension Forms Emailed: Approximately 30 days prior to official retirement date (if 60 days&rsquo; notice was provided)\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tOlder versions of this document with signatures dated on or after 3\/1\/2017 will be returned and asked to be resubmitted on the updated form.\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tPlease destroy any old hard copies or old saved versions and replace with this new version.\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tThe check boxes in section two remain required fields and must be completed in order to start the retirement process.\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t<strong><u><a href=\"http:\/\/hrs.missouri.edu\/\">http:\/\/hrs.missouri.edu<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Retirement Office has completed revisions to the Notice of Intent to Retire form and the current document is live on their website and available for immediate use.
