Below is a quick guide to finding the right person!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Peer Navigators<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Peer Navigators are a great place to start because we can point you in the right direction\u2014even if that\u2019s another person who can fully answer your question. We can help you find locations throughout the library and assist with basic technology tasks, such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Directions both inside the library or across campus<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fixing common printer problems<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Downloading the printer software so you can print from your own computer<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finding scanners, computers, study spaces, and other library resources<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Searching the catalog for books and where to find the call number<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Circulation Desk<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The North and West service desks, also called the Circulation Desk, can help you:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Find and check out books<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Return or renew library materials<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ask questions about your library account<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Checking out equipment like phone chargers, video cameras, or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/libraryguides.missouri.edu\/sensoryandwellbeing\/kits\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">self care and sensory kits<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Subject Librarians<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Subject librarians are your go-to people for research help. You do not need to have a complete draft before making an appointment! This may include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Recording or editing audio and video<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Using media equipment and software<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Working on podcasts, presentations, or other digital projects<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Learning how to use unfamiliar creative technology<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">IT Help<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For more complicated problems, such as your computer crashing or other high-tech issues, you will need help from IT. Divisions of IT staff are sometimes available at the desk on the first floor next to printer station 3A\u2013D, which is surrounded by \u201cHelp Station\u201d posters.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bring anything technological to them<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you are ever unsure about who to ask, don\u2019t be afraid to start with a Peer Navigator.
