Description: James Gregory was a naturalist, physician, professor, and a member of the Royal Society. He published his works as a member of the Aberdeen Philosophical Society, a group interested in science and scholarship. In this work, he argues that human nature, that which distinguishes people from animals, can be discovered through scientific observation of the natural world.
Condition/Repair: The covers are detached. The conservator will reattach them with Japanese tissue (kozo).
