Laptops can access several Engineering-specific software programs through <a href=\"http:\/\/doit.missouri.edu\/software\/software-anywhere.html\">Software Anywhere<\/a>. <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Laptop Checkout Policies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<table style=\"width: 87%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"17%\">Location<\/td>\n<td width=\"83%\">Laptops can only be used in the Library.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=\"#EFEDDE\">\n<td bgcolor=\"#EFEDDE\">Eligibility<\/td>\n<td>Current MU faculty, staff and students with valid ID.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Loan Period<\/td>\n<td>4 hours, on a first come, first served basis.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=\"#EFEDDE\">\n<td bgcolor=\"#EFEDDE\">Renewals<\/td>\n<td>Laptops may be renewed at the circulation desk if other laptops are available.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Overdue Fines<\/td>\n<td>$2 per hour<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=\"#EFEDDE\">\n<td bgcolor=\"#EFEDDE\">Charges<\/td>\n<td>Borrower is responsible for replacement cost of the computer ($2,000.00) or cost of repair due to loss or damage.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Help<\/td>\n<td>Please see the staff at the circulation desk.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3><strong>NOTE:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Please exercise common sense and do not leave laptops unattended or eat or drink around them. Borrowers are responsible for any loss or damages.<\/li>\n<li>Due to frequent use, our laptops are often not fully charged and we strongly recommend plugging in your laptop.
