Ellis Library Thanksgiving Week Projects

Sign Project: Ellis Library signs are scheduled to arrive on Monday morning (Nov 20). We’re working on the final details for the Signage Project with Cyndi Curnutte on Friday afternoon. Signage installation will take place Monday-Wednesday (Nov 20-22).

Outdoor Cameras: ACC will be here Monday-Wednesday (Nov 20-22). They will be here to finish the outdoor camera installation project.

Door Controls: Overhead Door will be here on Monday (Nov 20) to install the new card readers on the North and West doors. They should be operational and under campus control by end of business on Monday. The door to Room 52 might be non-functional on Monday and Tuesday. Ernest is working with Energy Management on the technical details and will give us an update soon.

Chancellors Move: Beginning Monday (Nov 20), Larry will begin moving Chancellor Wallace to Room 3A31 and Chancellor Deaton to Room 104G.

Furniture warranty work: Cyndi Curnutte is scheduled to walk-through the building on Tuesday (Nov 21) with some manufacturers. They will be looking at the furniture in IC1, IC2, and the lounge chairs throughout the building to determine what can be repaired under warranty. The warranty work will begin as quickly as possible. Cyndi will provide cost estimates for work that needs to be done, but is not covered under warranty.
