End of Semester Haiku

It's crunch time! The end of the Spring semester is quickly approaching and graduation may be on your horizon. With essays and tests plaguing our thoughts, we can forget minor details like backing up that important final paper.

In honor of all the data lost due to the failure of technology during these turbulent times, we offer solace (or humor, at least) in the form of Haiku:

Three things are certain:
Death, taxes, and lost data.
Guess which has occured.
— David Dixon

Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
— Suzie Wagner

Your file was so big.
It might be very useful.
But now it is gone.
— David J. Liszewski

Windows NT crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
No one hears your screams.
— Peter Rothman

Stay the patient course.
Of little worth is your ire.
The network is down.
— David Ansel

Having been erased,
the document you're seeking
Must now be retyped.
— Judy Birmingham

The website you seek
Cannot be located, but
Countless more exist.
— Joy Rothke
