October 23rd 3:30 - 4:30 PM Presentation by Mack Jones (MU Faculty) - "To Be Or Not To Be: Shakespeare's Thematic Ambiguities" Ellis Library - Colonnade
October 24th 6 - 7 PM Presentation by Gloria Dossett (MU Graduate Student) - "Shakespeare's Garden" Ellis Library Auditorium
October 27th 2 - 3:30 PM Official opening and reception with keynote by Lois Huneycutt (MU Faculty) - "Elizabeth I and the Problem of Female Sovereignty: The Reinvention of Medieval Queenship." Period music provided by the MU Brass Quintet. Ellis Library - Room 201
October 28th 11 AM - 12 PM Pirates of the Spanish Main. Children's program presented by the Missouri Center for the Book. Come learn about 16th-century Spain and England, pirates and privateers, and Queen Elizabeth I. Intended for families and children, ages 6 and older. Registration has closed. Columbia Public Library - Program Room, Children's Area
