University Libraries Event Checklist

This form is designed to give us an idea of what resources you will need for your planned event or meeting in the University Libraries. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Shannon Cary, carysn@missouri.edu, or Jaqueline Eiben, rashj@missouri.edu.
  • Form should be submitted to University Libraries Event Team at least 30 days before event.
  • All details of event must be finalized at least two weeks before event. The University Libraries reserve the right to cancel event if details are not finalized by this deadline.
  • Room details: 114A is the room used for most events in Ellis Library. Maximum occupancy for room is 75. For safety reasons, the Libraries will strictly enforce the occupancy limit.
  • No food or drink is allowed in room 114A.

  • IT and AV Equipment (screen, projector and Internet access are available in room)

  • (The Libraries cannot provide MAC laptops. Our projection equipment does not support Chromebooks or Surfaces. Our rooms support VGA and HDMI cables. Audio will only work with HDMI.)
  • To project, your laptop needs to connect to either VGA or HDMI. If necessary, please bring the appropriate adapter.
  • Furniture Setup

  • Standard setup is seven rows of eight chairs with middle aisle in theater style with podium at front of room; only Libraries or campus facilities staff may move furniture.
